Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and cats. Our Persian cat was with me as a baby and lived until I was 17! At the age of 10 we adopted two high energy Jack Russell Terriers who became the love of my life. I have experience with very senior dogs and cats and medication administration. I have experience taking care of a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, hamsters, chameleons, fish, parrots, and ferrets. I currently have no pups and I feel the lack of their company in my bones!

I can accommodate dogs who need to be the only dog in the household because I only take on 1-2 (when it's 2, they are generally from the same household) dogs at a time and have none of my own. We have five acres of land for awesome and engaging walks and exploring. We live on a quiet 30 MPH road with little traffic and noise. Our home is open concept with space to play or chill out on the couches. Our home is clean, uncluttered, and safe. I have time for daily walks and play time! Since our property is completely unfenced, I will only board large pups that are leashed trained for the safety of your pup and myself. Safety is my top priority! Small pups without leash training are okay.

A typical day
We have large property with woods and an old logging trail for awesome and engaging walks. The back yard is perfect for fetch and running around having a blast! I love training pups for basic obedience and leash etiquette so if your pup needs that we can work on it.

Availability
My schedule is open until until the end of May of 2024. I am a graduate student in Wildlife Biology working from home and have ample time and energy to take care of and spend quality time with your pets. In the summer I work as a SCUBA diver removing invasive plants from lakes!
