Pet care experience
My most recent job is for CSU's Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratories - I am committed to helping animals of all shapes and sizes both in and out of work. My current position has given me a unique expertise in animal illness so I can be trusted to look after your furbabies as if they were my own. In addition, I have been entrusted as sole caretaker of a variety of pets since I was 10 - this includes dogs, cats, birds, and even a snake! I promise to be thoroughly knowledgeable about whatever special needs your pet may have at any age or size range. I currently have a rescue-dog and rescue-cat that my partner and I took in from shelters in Tacoma, WA and Fort Collins, CO. I have worked extensively with both of these wonderful animals to address behavioral problems stemming from previous neglect so I am no stranger to difficult animals. A typical day
I am happy to tote your dog around in my very own customized dog trailer on my bike (a personal favorite of my own dog, Bruce)! It is a very safe transportation method as the top can completely zipper shut while still providing breathability. Of course, this can just be a ride to a park or trail to make sure exercise is still provided. I also have my own car so that transportation to and from any location is possible. My personal favorite areas are the Poudre trail, Horsetooth/Lory state parks, and Fischer natural area.

Availability
Although I work a traditional 9-5 M-F job, I am given an hour-long lunch break. This gives me plenty of time to stop in for an afternoon potty-break at whatever time is convenient. I also am available to stop by early mornings or after work; I am happy to discuss your scheduling needs to provide customized care.
