Pet care experience
All my life, I've grown up in a household with pets that have always felt more like family members to me. I have experience caring for dogs and cats through feeding, walking, bathing, medication management, special needs care, play times, litter scooping, and cuddle sessions. I have direct experience with administering daily medications, both oral and injectable, from having a diabetic dog myself. I have experience with dogs and cats throughout their full lifespan, and I recognize that each animal may be in a different stage of their life with unique requirements. I am a friendly, dependable, reliable, and consistent caretaker. Communication is one of my biggest values and by trusting me with your pet, you are also trusting me to communicate with you along the way. No amount of pictures and updates is too many, especially when it comes to our furry family members! LGBTQ+ friendly!

All pet care would take place in your home in the environment in which your pet is already familiar and secure in. For dog walks, I would be happy to walk your pup all around your own neighborhood. As all dog owners know, dogs often walk YOU rather than the other way around! I will let your furry friend choose the route. COVID-19: I am fully vaccinated and boosted!

Please inform me in advance if any of the following pertain to your pet to ensure the best care possible and safety for everyone: - special feeding, diet, or medication regimens - aggressive tendencies (i.e. food aggression, other-animal aggression, territorial tendencies around toys, food, home, etc.) - unique quirks or behaviors to be aware of - special needs or medical diagnoses - known allergies - anything else you'd like me to know! I always recommend leaving me with an emergency contact for a nearby friend or family member, particularly for extended care!
A typical day
Your pet takes the lead on this one! I am always excited to play fetch, snuggle, play with their toys, explore walking trails, and any other unique games your pet loves. I love walks through the park and with scenic views.

Availability
I am a full-time, in-person mental health therapist who works standard hours Monday through Friday from approximately 8:30am to 4:30pm. I am flexible on most weekends and evenings to be there when your pet needs me. It is a bonus if your requested times during the day are somewhat flexible due to high demand. Last minute requests for drop-ins and/or walks are happily welcomed and accepted pending availability and location!
