I currently have a dachshund who is 13 years old. I love him dearly but he is blind, deaf, and old. No one can replace him, but I miss being able to play and walk dogs. I want to give the love I have to my dog, to other dogs without mine feel like he is being replaced. Besides from looking for a little extra cash, I want to walk dogs whose owners don’t have time, and keep dogs company when they might have to be alone. I have been visiting dogs in shelters for years when I was away at college and couldn’t be a dog owner. With rover, I am able to have a closer bond experience even if I can’t adopt a dog at the moment.
