I work, live and play outdoors, so if you'd like your dogs to get some exercise I'm for you! That being said, I also enjoy getting cozy with a lazy old pup--old dogs are my favorite:) I grew up mainly with a German shorthaired pointer, on a large amount of acreage. However, I have watched many dogs of varying sizes for friends. My "niece" dog is a German shepherd/husky mix. My first job was a dog sitting "business" that I started when I was 10. My mother was a veterinarian, and later in life she had a Pomeranian I would often watch. I recently rescued a dog (Yunque, the medium-sized golden dog in my photos) when I was in Puerto Rico for my brother. I was living there and trained him for the first 2 months as a puppy before sending him back to my brother. I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, backcountry skiing and many other outdoor activities. I currently work in environmental science, but I have worked at kids camps and as a guide. Since I currently live a pretty mobile lifestyle, I haven't been able to get a dog myself. When I do, I'd like a larger dog, and want to give him/her the best life with lots of room to roam the country. So for now, I dogsit! Also, I love cats!
