Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs for as long as I’ve been alive. Mostly golden retrievers, but also a husky and a lab (or two). I currently live in the River North and love long walks on the riverfront. I’ll be working from home for the time and will be staying in Chicago for the holidays so I’ll be free to take care of your pup while you travel!

Brett was fantastic! My dog is a bit shy/antsy and Brett was so accommodating (to her and me) even with a late night, holiday pick up. I could tell she was in great hands. She was very comfortable with him and I could tell they had a great time. Definitely going to rebook in the future!
Brett was awesome! He sent me a picture of Lizzy and I was so comfortable knowing Lizzy was with him! Would definitely recommend Brett to all visitors to and residents of Chicago! As an added plus, his location was perfect for our day’s adventure.

I usually will take them on a walk in the morning, hang out in the house until about lunch. Go for another walk and find a park to run around. Then back home until dinner where we’ll maybe do another quick walk if they’re being boarded. I live alone and rarely have guests so my focus will be to make sure your pet is happy and comfortable at all times during their stay.

I love all breeds! I would just prefer to know what your dogs temperment is and if I should avoid him/her being around other dogs or people. I take the liability side of this job very seriously and wouldn’t want to endanger your dog or anyone else.
A typical day
I love long distance running so if you’re looking to tire your pup out, I’m your guy! But I’m also down for easy walks too. Playing fetch or having a little tug of war games are my go-to activities with dogs.
