Hello, my name is Brett. Since I was a young boy, dogs have always been a part of my life. My first family dog was a lovable dachshund, beagle, terrier mix. She loved riding in boats and cars, and her Daily Growl chew toy. Additionally, I grew up with three cats (the oldest lived to be 25) along with various fish, a turtle and two ferrets. I started dog sitting in High School. Some of my first clients were a teething Yorkie puppy, and an energetic walk-loving Malamute. Care for the dogs included feeding, walking (up to an hour), play time, yard safety checks. (On occasion, I would house sit for the dog’s owner, too.) I currently work at home and have a flexible schedule to accommodate your dog’s schedule. (Except for occasionally volunteering at the elementary school.) I do bring my own treats (cheese and meats, if okayed by you) and my own clean up bags. Walks typically would take place in the neighborhood. However, at your discretion, I'd be happy to transport your dog to the Cedar Bark Park (Dog Bark) for a romp with their fellow canines. At home play would mirror your play with the dog. Time spent with your pets would be agreed upon prior to the first walk. I have a wife and two kids who might (at times) accompany me during the walks as long as it is okay with you. Also at home, I have two wonderful dogs, a seven year old Alaskan Malamute and a recently adopted three year old Bassett Hound rescue. The Bassett Hound did go through “Good Citizen” training. Both dogs love playing with other canines
