Big animal enthusiast of all shapes and sizes. I have a degree in animal science from Iowa State University with vet care experience. Currently, I am a graduate student in biomedical sciences at the vet college here in Ames. Have 2 dogs, lab and Airedale terrier, I care for at home while not in school. I am comfortable around any and all breeds of dogs. Active lifestyle and avid outdoorsman. I am willing to be flexible in what you prefer (times needed, dog activities, medication administration). There is a dog park within driving distance and I have car I’m willing to transport any dog in. I want the best for your pet while you’re away. I can be reached via phone at all times during the week except Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8-11:30. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Brett apparently loves dogs. He took good care of Rico when I was out of town. He sent me photos & videos of Rico every day! Brett is also a detail-oriented dog care person, he remembered everything I told him about Rico. Brett is very flexible about drop-off and pick-up time. All in all, Brett is great to work with! I would highly recommend anyone to board their dog with Brett!
Brett loves dogs! His caring for dogs includes loving them, playing with them, walking/running along with them, and just plain daily care of dogs. He has done this with our dog many times and I've also seen his love and care for his family's own dogs. Where his brothers have to be told by their parents to take care of their dog, Brett seeks out time to be with the dogs, regardless of the weather or time of day. I would completely trust the care of my dog to Brett.
Brett did an amazing job of caring for our two dogs while we were out of town. He is dependable, caring and responsible. He's a animal lover who seemed to really enjoy spending time with our dogs. They got a lot of great attention and exercise while we were gone. We will definitely be calling him next time we are headed out of town!
Brett has taken care of our dog Cameron for the past 4 years and she LOVES when he comes to see her! He has an instant connection with animals and not only takes the time to feed and walk her, but plays with her and gives her interaction as well! He is extremely responsible and can always be relied on for arriving when promised. I have seen him interact with small and large dogs. I would choose Brett to care for my dog anytime needed and could have peace of mind that they were being well taken care of and feeling loved.
