Hello, My name is Breon, I am 24 years old and I’m a Registered Nurse. Growing up in Kentucky and Ohio, I have had a pet for most of my life. I’ve had Guinea pigs, cats, dogs, and I would often help out on my cousins farm In Lancaster Kentucky. I have also always been involved with volunteering at animal shelters and find that is one of my favorite ways to serve my community. It wasn’t until moving here to Portland for my husbands job, that I have been so far removed from caring for animals. Since living in Portland, I have walked/dog sat for a few of my friends and their dogs including a (German shepherd, golden doodle, Great Dane, and pit bull). My husband and I live in a small apartment in SW Portland, and though we both dream of having a German Shepard some day, we recognize that now is not the responsible time for one. All that to say, I can assure you, that caring for your pet would be more of a joy and an honor for me, than it would be for you or your dog!
