My Dog Walking & Care Philosophy
Pet care experience
I've had pets my whole life, growing up in Michigan with everything from dogs to raccoons and deer. Dogs have always been a big part of my family, and I know the joy they can bring to anyone's life. My two senior Miniature Pinschers, Bill and Luci, taught me invaluable lessons in patience and helping pets feel comfortable in new environments and on walks. While they're no longer with me, the wisdom they imparted continues to guide my approach to dog care. I'm no longer new to Rover! I've gained extensive experience walking for a dog walking company near downtown, so I'm very familiar with a variety of local dog parks and routes. I love dogs of all sizes, shapes, and ages. My two cats have a free rein of my apartment including a catio that allows them to be outside on the fire escape, without running free. I have attempted to introduce them to dogs, but unfortunately, I think they are best at being friends with each other, and not introducing new animals into the mix. For this reason, I am willing to do in-home visits, but not overnight stay at my house.
