Active dog adventures at the Eno
Pet care experience
Hey there! My name is Brennan and I'm eager to meet your pet! I started pet-sitting when I was 13 and regularly care for friends and neighbors' dogs and cats around town. Over the past year, I volunteered in puppy care, fostering, and weekend hosting with Saving Grace. I love to take dogs out for active adventures at the Eno and around town. I've also trained my own pup, a mixed breed rescue named Fig, in advanced obedience and basic agility.

When house sitting, I'm happy to adjust my routine to best fit your dog's needs. I can provide as many potty breaks or outside time as your dog needs. Please note that if I am house sitting in your home, I will need wifi access in order to access my work. If your dog is high energy, I love active games of fetch and tug or running around the yard. If you have a lower energy companion, I can plan for couch time and lower-key walks -- whatever your pup prefers. Since I have my own dog, I'm happy to bring along Fig as a playmate for your dog-friendly pup. I'm also careful about safety and entering/exiting the home in case you have your own resident escape artist. **Special Day Hike Rate** -- Is your dog an active adventurer? I offer 1-2 hour day hikes at the Eno and/or other local parks for dogs, including pickup and drop-off, for a $40 flat fee. Please contact me if you'd like to add a hike to your booking! Please note that your dog must be dog-friendly in order to book a day hike.
Information Brennan L. would like to know about your pet
When booking, please let me know: - Does your pet has any special needs (medical, separation anxiety, etc)? - Has your dog ever shown signs of aggression, reactivity, or resource guarding around people or other dogs? - What house rules do you have for your pet? - If house-sitting, please indicate whether you are comfortable with me bringing along my dog, Fig, and whether you would prefer for me to stay the night. - If you are booking overnight house sitting, I charge an additional $30 day care fee if you will need me to care for your pet later than 1:00pm on the final day of the booking. Please note that for overnight stays longer than a few nights, I will need to bring along my dog. I am unable to do multi-day overnight stays with dogs that are not dog friendly. However, I would be happy to set up drop-in visits. My neighborhood has lots of friendly dogs, dog owners, and places to sniff, but if your pup prefers space from other dogs I'll take them on quieter walk routes.
A typical day
I love to take dogs out for hikes, runs, and walks in the woods depending on their energy level. We can also visit Duke Park for games of fetch and obedience practice.
