I just moved to Austin from New York City, and I am eager to explore my new neighborhood with a buddy - AKA your dog! I grew up with Shepherds and Dachshund mixes, but while being a full-time dog walker in NYC I worked with more breeds than I can count! There are a few principles I always strive to achieve while caring for a pet: I keep a sharp eye on them and our surroundings while out and about; I give them the care and attention that I'd give my own babies; and I always send detailed, thoughtful journals to their pawrents! I am comfortable taking directions for oral medications and special feeding instructions. I love to run, walk, and hike, but I'm also happy to curl up and watch a movie, if that's what your pup is into! I also have experience caring for cats, reptiles, fish, and birds, so if you have more than just dogs, I can handle it! I can't wait to meet your pets!

We booked Brenna to housesit and watch our two boxers. One is a rescue puppy that we’ve only had for two months and have never left. Brenna did an amazing job with giving our dogs lots of attention, taking them on walks everyday, and sending us a daily update, including pictures, on what they did and how the dogs were doing. We couldn’t be happier with the care Brenna provided our fur babies and our house while we were away. We will definitely book her again!
Brenna was great with June! Lots of updates and pictures and one happy girl when I got home. Nice to come home to a clean apartment too! I’d be happy to have Brenna take care of June again :)
Brenna was SO wonderful with my 12 year old dachshund Tootsie. Very responsible and flexible as I needed her last minute for a work trip. Would absolutely recommend Brenna, she put me at ease especially since my pup requires medicine daily. I could tell when I returned that Toots had a great time and really enjoyed her time with Brenna.

A typical day
I am all for adapting our time together to the weather and what your pup prefers. If long walks aren't your dog's thing, we can drive to the park and have a picnic instead! I tend to avoid dog parks because I find them a bit unpredictable. I run almost daily, so if that's an activity that your dog is used to, I can keep them in shape while you're away! On hot days we can take a drive to a shady destination and explore a some place new. I always carry water and a pop-out water dish, cleaned after each use, of course.
