Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and cats; german shepherds, a dachshund, a Maine coon, and a tabby cat. Since moving to Brooklyn in 2021 with my roommate and our cat (named Tinker), I've befriended multiple fellow cat owners who needed someone to watch their babies while they were out of town. I would visit their cats multiple times a day, not just feeding them and leaving, but taking time to sit with them and give them some love and attention too. I am able to care for each of their cat's specific needs. I gave heart medicine to a cat named Niki, and when pet sitting for my friend who has two cats named Penny and Louie, I made sure both of their differing dietary needs were met.

Brenna was AMAZING! My cat is older and having some new health issues. Brenna was so kind about it all, and she sent me the some of the best pictures I’ve ever gotten. She was super communicative, and my cat clearly loved hanging out with her.
This is my third time booking with Brenna! I always appreciate how considerate, communicative and kind she is when taking care of my cat. If you’re looking for someone to watch your pet, I truly can’t recommend Brenna enough!
Brenna is the sitter we all want for our cats - kind, caring, responsive, responsible, great energy that my otherwise constantly-hides-from-others cat, Ziggy, responds well to... Ziggy has rarely come out for others, but Brenna had her comfortable enough to approach on visit one and had her asking for scratches not soon after. Oh and she saved me when my return travel got messed up and sat for another 2 days with very little notice. Thanks so much, Brenna!
Brenna is the sitter we all want - caring, kind, communicative, responds quickly, does a thorough job, great with cats (my cat has never come out for a sitter, until Brenna… Ziggy even asked her for scratches - literally unheard of). And just a pleasure to work with. Thank you Brenna!

I love taking time to make sure other people's pets feel comfortable with me. One of my friend's cat's, Penny, is very shy and skittish around new people. She told me if I squat down, called her name, and waited for her to come to me with an outstretched hand, she might. I tried this tactic with her, and patiently waited, and she came over and greeted me! I definitely have the patience to befriend shy animals, and it was so rewarding when on my fourth visit to her home, Penny even let me walk behind her while she ate her dinner!

A typical day
I love walking and biking around Prospect Park, so I know the paths well! I'd love to take your dog on a stroll through the lovely nature there, and we could play in the fields as well!

Availability
I work part-time at a local shop, with weekends being my busiest work days. On weekends I work 12-8 pm on Sat. and Sun. I've watched friend's cats over weekends before, making visits before and after my shifts. My days off are Tues. - Thurs.
