I've owned and taken care of dogs since I was a child, growing up in a household that loved animals. I love walking and playing with dogs and my own dog, Rogue, is a wonderful playmate and loves to take every opportunity to walk and play with his fellow four-legged friends!

I own a husky by the name of Rogue, he is very good natured around other dogs and can walk for as long as another dog might want to. I like to make time to play games of fetch / tug or whatever the dog I'm caring for likes and almost instinctively offer treats in return for tricks. I have a fenced garden with 6 foot tall fencing with access available at any time of the day.

Please let me know if your dog has any allergies that may be an issue, I have a number of treats all mixed together, so I wouldn't want to risk allergic reactions. Tell me if your dog is reactive to people or other dogs of certain kinds, as I have a dog of my own, it would not do to bring in a dog that is reactive and likely to attack him. If your dog has a prey drive that leads them to chase cars, small animals or other dogs, warn accordingly so I can try to avoid areas where these may be a bigger concern.
A typical day
A typical day will consist of a morning walk to stretch the legs and use the bathroom after a good sleep, usually no more than half an hour. This is then followed by breakfast. After a bit of time to digest (30 mins to 1 hour, sometimes more if dog is at risk of bloat) it's playtime! Whether it's fetch, tug or whatever game or toy the dog likes, they'll get a good workout Throughout the day, treats are offered in return for basic commands like sit / shake / lay, but happy to work any other commands the dog knows into this. At some point in the day, we'll walk around the Avenue Washlands and Country Park, which offers plenty of room to run and opportunity to meet other dogs.

Availability
I work from home full time, which allows me to remain at home for the majority of the day to keep my eye on dogs. I get a one hour lunch break that I use to take my own dog for a walk, but also do walks on both mornings and afternoons after work. I have a secure garden with plenty of space for a dog or two to chase each other and am in walking distance of the Avenue Washlands, that offer great opportunity for running around a larger space.
