Whether it be taking for a walk, overnighting, day care, or drop-in visiting, I find it very easy to connect with a dog in that window of time. I have spent time caring for my own dogs. A German shepherd named Greta, and a mini poodle named Oliver. The former passed away a couple years ago. They have different personalities and are differently built. This has helped me to develop a respect for a variety of dogs. These dogs have meant so much to me, and I know firsthand how much a dog completes a family. This is why I am personally driven to take good care of any pet. Furthermore, I am a student athlete(soccer player) at Salve Regina University, and I find that my athleticism allows me to keep up with any dog no matter how strong or energetic.
