Pet care experience
Happy Spring 🌺 I began home sitting dogs in my home beginning 2000, and continued for about 3 years. My clients came self referred and wanted the home environment for their animals as some were seniors and needed the serene setting. I do have a little 15 lb. dog of my own, as I have always had a dog in my life for companionship. We love taking walks and taking care of plants and our surroundings whether it be a hotel room or our own home. Beginning 2021 while working for Vail School District as a Crossing Guard (because I love our 🇺🇸country and want to contribute ☦ in some way) I started Rover pet care and have developed some treasured relationships with more lovely families and their beloved pets in the Tucson area.

We are new to Rover and in a new house and town. We were concerned about our 14 year old Corgi because she does have some age related issues. We were pleased to have discovered Brenda . She was extremely dutiful. Gracie Lou gives her 4 Paws Up!
Brenda was great with my our dog Josie! It was very clear Josie got a lot of love and exercise throughout her whole stay! Would definitely have Josie stay with Brenda again!
Brenda was great to care for our two dogs while we were away for a long weekend. She left our home cleaner than we left it and our girls seemed like the just played the whole time. It’s hard leaving them and your home behind but Brenda seemed so sweet and trustworthy from the start. We will be using her services again the next time we go out of town if she’s available! Thanks again for taking great care of our girls and the sweet congratulations card! Lots of love!

At my home, pets will be inside, fenced or leashed up. With your dog, this would not change, unless you do not have a fenced yard. Then the pet would still be leashed or inside.

If caring for your dog in my home, I prefer they have some discipline and good manners. I am currently still working with my dog on training so I think if the dog and owner want, we can introduce new commands or tricks! In some cases, I feel.safer when I put the leash around my waist so the dog is tethered to me and less likey to get loose when walking.
A typical day
Walking a few times a day is routine for me so I am happy to walk with, go to park, and take to different locations for new experiences. We can play ball, train new tricks, stimulate with videos of other dog and nature sounds.

Availability
I am seeking other opportunities for extending my passion for dogs to others. We go to the local parks daily and love getting out in the neighborhood for walks and socialization. We occasionally try to slip some training in with a few familiar commands. We get frozen drummets for treats or "snack" if we've eaten our raw food "snack bowl". Finding Hazen likes frozen gizzards and necks too. Because ya can't fnd a lot of the Made in USA chicken treats anymore.
