I grew up with dogs my family always had dogs, birds, and fish. I can't remember not having a dog as a child. I've have had 3 dogs as an adult, I'm 56. 2 German Shepherds and I have recently rescued a Yorkie. I have experience with large breeds and small breeds, from potty training, snuggling, playing fetch to winter walks in the park. Dogs are pack animals and are very social. Like us each dog has their own personality you just have to take time out and get to know them, but unlike some of us their love is unconditional and all they want from us is to be loved. Caring for a dog is the same as caring for a child, they need plenty of TLC, structure, and exercise.
