Pet care experience
We love dogs; we have two of our own that we call our children. Family and friends utilize our skills and house for their dogs when needed, and we figured maybe we could turn this into a side job. We have experience in taking care of and training dogs, the basics in health needs for dogs, and doggy CPR if needed. Our dogs are used to other dogs being around, and in fact enjoy when there is another friend to play with. I do work night shifts as a nurse and am able to provide services during most of the days and evenings. Even during the nights, if anyone wants to board overnight, I am available 3-4 nights/week to provide services myself as well as my wife, who is present every night and evening to help with anything. We enjoy taking walks to get off excess energy, and if it’s okay with the owners, we love to go to the dog park for more running and socialization. Also if you live in Salina, I am more than willing to come feed/water/play with and let your dog out whenever it’s indicated.

Once again, a great stay-over for our dogs. Always know they are well cared for, even spoiled! Brenda & Melissa saved the day when they took in the dogs on short notice.
They took Zoe on short notice and were very accommodating. They also took her to the dog park with my permission. Recommended.
Melissa and Brenda opened their home to our dogs--making the experience of leaving them for over a week a worry-free experience. With frequent updates and photos of how the dogs were handling the overnight stays, we felt confident that they were comfortable and well cared for. Both of our pets are older house dogs. The option of leaving them elsewhere where they might be confined without human contact was not an option. We were super pleased with our caring sitters! I do encourage others to take advantage of such an option.

We enjoy making homemade treats, baked and frozen yogurt/frozen fruit style, for our dogs as well as others. We live pretty close to a park and trails, and we love to take walks. There are plenty of toys to play with, and our dogs will enjoy having some new friends to play with.
