Pet care experience
Hello! Thanks for visiting my page and considering me to care for your pup. A little about myself, I’ve taken care and had dogs of every size since I was a child. I’ve taken care of friends and family dogs, and I have experience taking care of senior dogs and dogs with separation anxiety. I am able to administer oral medication to dogs with special needs or on medication. Most of the pups I care for tend to follow me around and snuggle with me while I work on my laptop, my goal is to provide the most relaxing environment so they feel safe and secure. Please note I have a 3 year old pup myself (border collie/lab mix) he is very friendly and calm mannered.
Reviews
Brenda was communicative and I felt super safe leaving my energetic boy with her. Thank you!!
Brenda took great care of Dixon! We got so many pictures of them hanging out, taking walks, and lounging around the house. Will definitely be boarding with her again.

Brenda took great care of my puppy Mali! She kept her active and sent regular updates. I will be rebooking with Brenda again 😊

I live in a spacious 2bed 2bath apartment in a safe and secured building. We have a shaded dog relief area in the back building for the summer months. I can install a doggy gate in my apartment (only if requested otherwise it is not set up) and allow pets everywhere in my home (bed, sofa, rooms). I have a large dog bed available, but please feel free to bring your own as well! I live 5 mins walking distance from a park and 8 min drive from Tree People for weekend hiking. I go on walks twice a day in the morning and night but I can also work with your dogs needs. I live with my husband and my dog.

Information Brenda M. would like to know about your pet
Any special needs they have such as cannot jump on/ off sofa, medications, allergies, and any physical limitations. I live in a dog friendly building so we might be bumping into some furry friends at some point. I do not accept pets with aggression issues or with bite history. It would also be helpful to know any tendencies that your dog has that I should be aware of, for example eating trash off the floor when on walks, history of eating socks, chewing on shoes, counter surfing, etc. I am very diligent to put things away when I have furry friends over but want to know if I should be extra extra careful to prevent accidents.
A typical day
I go on neighborhood walks twice a day, one in the morning and one at night for about 30. If your pup has different needs please let me know. We also like going to a fenced park to play catch on weekends.

Availability
I currently work from home part time and I’m a PhD student who has completed coursework so I’m home fulI time. I can provide multiple potty breaks throughout the day. We go on walks twice a day for about 30-40 mins. If I do leave home it’s usually 1-2hrs max to go to the store. For first time clients: I will not leave your pup alone at home if you are a first time client, or if you have a dog with severe separation anxiety issues.
