Pet care experience
I have worked professionally in the animal field for about 4 years at a zoo and a nature center. I am currently enrolled in a Veterinary Technician Associate's degree program. I have training and experience in reading animal behavior, training animals, medicating animals, and caring for the daily needs of many animal species including dogs, cats, birds, lizards, snakes, turtles, fish, guinea pigs, ferrets, rabbits, and many more. I'm currently enrolled in a self-paced, online veterinary technician program, and work part-time as a vet clinic assistant. I work 5 hours three days a week, and then use the rest of my days to complete course work. I am able to start and stop my course work as I need meaning any pets in my care on my days off of work can have my full, undivided attention whenever they need it. I have a fenced-in yard that dogs love to run around in. I have a friendly, one-year-old female Goldendoodle, who is always looking to play and loves to share her toys. We also go for a walk every morning. I also have two birds and a rabbit, who I socialize with every day. However, they enjoy their alone time so they have their own room with a door that can be shut. I also have a cat, whose favorite time of the day is when I feed her.
Reviews
Brenda has amazing attention to detail as well as her love for animals! She has a long history of experience caring for animals and her own pets are so happy, healthy and super friendly. I would trust her with my pup and other pets!
Brenda has always been so good with animals, all animals. Dogs of her own have always been loved as family and cared for in every way, and dogs of her family and friends have always been treated the same. Her experience and training with animals of all types makes her the perfect choice to help care pets of any breed or size without having to worry if they will be well cared for.
Ive known Brenda for 20 years now and she has always been amazing with animals! She has grown up with dogs and cats her whole life and now has taken on the care of a bunny and two sun conures. An all around animal lover who has worked at 2 zoos and a nature center, there is no one I trust with animals more than her. I go to her for tips on training my own dogs and have gotten advice on my hognose snake as well. Brenda has tons of dog-sitting experience as every summer she watches her Aunts dogs. She even has experience caring for dogs with special needs as her Aunt had a dog who was blind and she also owned a Lab that had one leg amputated. She will make sure your dogs are very well taken care of :)

Information Brenda M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about any specific behaviors your animal may have, how your animal does with other animals, and how your animal does with other people so I can prepare accordingly.
A typical day
Physical and mental stimulation are both important for all animals. All dogs can enjoy running around and playing with toys in the fenced-in backyard. I also have puzzle feeders and interactive to keep their minds engaged once we come inside. There are three nice neighborhoods that we can enjoy walks in if the client would like.
