Hello, My name is Brelan and I have well over 10+ years of dog sitting experience with a wide range of breeds and It’s truly something I really enjoy doing. I know a lot of folks are on this app more so to make some extra cash but for me it’s more so about having the ability to be around animals and take care of them and love on them since I am not in a place in my life here in NYC to have a dog of my own yet. Growing up I spent a lot of my time volunteering in animal shelters and throughout college I fostered two dogs and successfully placed them both in forever loving homes. I have always been the go to person to spend my weekend watching my friends dogs, neighbor dogs and had many referrals to watch other people’s dogs because I truly find so much joy being around animals. I take dog sitting extremely seriously and a top priority of mine is to always put the dogs safety and the owners home safety ( if applicable) at the forefront of everything I do. Majority of my experience has been week day daily walks with peoples dogs to ensure they get some love during the day while their moms/dads are at work as well as staying at different peoples homes while people are out of town and walking, feeding, and hanging out with your dog to ensure they have the best experience and minimize any stress for them while you are away. I also really love to send photos and FaceTime clients while I am taking care of their animals it’s a fun part of what I do to be able to send cute photos of your dog to you while you are away so we can share the love for them.
