From caring for the thirty or more barn cats growing up to the multitude of rowdy pups, cozy cuddle fluffs, and even the ornery old goat or two…well, I’ve been around a slew of animals in my life. I lost my own sweet Yorkie pup in 2020 and haven’t had the heart yet to move on but I miss cajoling with man’s best friend. I still have my sweet Suki-Sue cat and she is her own personality to be sure, but I’ve time to give and I would love to help you out if I can. I’ve assisted rescue pups from puppy mills; helped deliver a litter of kittens; fought off a crazy mama cat who thought perhaps eating said kittens was the next step; run after spooked horses on an active railroad track during a thunderstorm; reversed the floor of a rabbit hutch while cuddling fluffy buns; and even pulled a few eggs from beneath the feathery tushes of hens! Been a minute on the more agrarian animals but like many things, it’s just like riding a bike!
