I worked at a vet clinic for two years taking care of the boarding dogs and cats. This job entitles letting the dogs out, feeding them, giving their medicine if needed. I’ve house sat and dog/animal sat for many families over the last 11 years of my life. I have even took care of chickens, mice, and guinea pigs! I have dog-sat for multiple diabetic dogs before too. Old teachers, family friends, friends of friends, coworkers, you name it and I’ve more than likely taken care of their animals for them. Your beloved animals will surely not go any period of time without love and genuine care while I am responsible for them. In my free time after I turned 16, I would volunteer at the animal shelter. But from day one, I have always been an animal lover. When I was a child, I wanted to be a vet. (Until I got older and realized the cost of vet school lol). But that has never stopped me in finding ways to love on and care for animals in my free time.
