Making dogs happy brings me joy.
Pet care experience
Along with having personal experience taking care of a family pet when I was in high school, I also have professional experience and I have a degree in Animal Sciences with a Concentration in Companion Animal and Equine Science. With this degree I quickly found a job in the animal welfare field at a shelter. I’ve worked in a shelter environment for 6 years now. 4 of those years I was a staff member and the Supervisor of the Animal Care Department focusing on general care of all shelter animals and then moved into the position of Animal Behavior Specialist working one on one with dogs and cats at the shelter and setting them up for success in their new homes. Because of my shelter background I am comfortable administering medication as well as working on behavioral concerns that are already being addressed in the home and I am also very comfortable working with all breeds and all sizes and all types of walking equipment.
Reviews
Breanne is awesome! We have complete trust in her with our dogs, and one is a handful and the other is an older guy feeling his age more and more these days.
Breanne took care of our dog for 4 days. She was great about sending updates and photos.
Breanne is wonderful! She is very experienced with dogs of all ages and kinds, and was a joy to work with. I would highly recommend Breanne to anyone looking for someone to love on their fur babies while away!
Thank you! The boys were well taken care of!

Safety, trust & environment
I personally have one dog, Zoey. She is a 40lb cattle dog mix who has fear behavior issues that we’ve been working on for the past 5 years since I’ve adopted. My housemate also has a dog as well as many dog playmates that come over multiple days a week so I am very comfortable watching and interpreting dog body language.

I work full time throughout the week but am available around the lunch hour and many weekends. I do sometimes have flexibility on weekday mornings and evenings.
