I have loved animals my whole life... I have taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, snakes, birds, and lizards. There was no point in time where my family didn't have pets. We have rescued animals and taken in abandoned animals since I was 8 years old. I wanted to become a vet because of my love for animals. I can't think of anything better than taking care of animals especially if they require more attention than most. As of right now, I have a dog, a rabbit, and a leopard gecko but when I was living with my mom our entire family had animals and if it wasn't for that I wouldn't be where I am today ... I love and appreciate all animals in life.
