Pet care experience
I have over two decades of pet-related experience that include owning and operating a pet sitting business, caring for hundreds of dogs at boarding facilities and professionally handling show dogs. My love for dogs began when I gained employment at our local kenneling facility. After 8 years of boarding facility service, I started my own dog walking and caregiving business. It was a treat to offer dogs a real home-like comfort and routine while their owners were away. I witnessed first hand that a more personalized experience mitigates their stress and anxiety. It turns out that on-demand treats and a designated spot on the couch rises spirits! I would love the privilege to give your best friend the same the warmth of a homey, quiet and private environment.
Reviews
Breanna was a godsend. She was patient, loving, and flexible with pick ups and drop offs. Bossa came back happy and healthy. Thank you so much Breanna!
Breanna was a great care taker and top of the list for future boarding in the Chicago area. Communication was immediate, concise, and during a stressful holiday travel period her professionalism took a huge amount of stress off my shoulders at the last minute.
Breanna B. cancelled a booking 2 days before it was scheduled to begin.
Breanna was super communicative during Benji’s stay at her home. She sent photo updates and Benji came back happy and healthy!

I maintain the same human-like standards my furry clients enjoy from their parents at home. I scrub the food dishes nightly, wash the pet linens weekly with hypoallergenic detergent, offer premium treats and filtered water, as well as keep their minds sharp with puzzle challenges. They're always welcomed on my cozy sectional or king-sized memory foam bed, accompanied by my personal dog. Thanks to working from home, I can flex to accommodate varying dogs' needs and expectations.

A typical day
Does your dog love retail therapy as much as I do? My 4 year old cuddle bug of a pit bill, Tula, and I are regulars at dog-friendly stores in the Lakeview neighborhood. On warmer days, we take a 12 minute stroll to the lake and people watch until it's time to get some grub. Did I mention we're foodies? My pooch and I love any excuse to grab sushi at nearby patios. and we would love for yours to join us! If your dog isn't social or mobile, we're just as happy being couch potatoes with the occasional marrow bone and a movie. In addition to morning potty breaks, we'll spend the lunch hour stretching our legs on with a scenic walk by the North Pond. Upon our return, I offer a treat-filled Kong, natural chew or brain puzzle to keep the dogs occupied while I return to my coding work. Afterwards, they'll supervise me from the dog bed next to my desk or from atop the fluffy the couch behind me. Occasionally, pups will participate in my Zoom calls, as my lap seems to be the perfect place to lounge at around 3pm each weekday. After quitting time, your pup may opt to socialize with the other neighborhood fur kids at any of the three nearby dog parks. 4 days out of the week, they'll get an hour's break from my presence when it's time for me to go to the gym. After some tug-of-war rematches, we'll relax on the couch for easy access to ALL the pets. Eventually, we'll go out for a final potty break, then head to bed with the night and morning temperatures set, the silky coolness of hypoallergenic bamboo sheets and the constant reassurance from a weighted blanket. Tula has already trained me to sleep on the edge of the king bed, so your dog should be more than comfortable.

Availability
I work from home so I'm extremely flexible with feedings and potty breaks. I only step out to either walk my dog, grab groceries from across the street or to go to the gym close by. I have a crate if your dog needs to be contained while I run errands at non-dog friendly establishments. Please note that I'm able to provide constant supervision, if requested.
