Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs my whole life. Experienced with big dogs (Alaskan Malamutes), taken obedience courses with them, participate in dog sports, and have experience with medicating animals due to my mother's work in veterinary medicine. Most of my life has been spent either at a dog event or at my mother's job learning about different animals. Have dealt with food aggressive, dog aggressive, and sick animals at all different ages of life. Since birth I've been around dogs. In my life I have had 7 dogs and 8 cats.

I come from a household that uses fear free training and works on obedience as the ground work for a good pet/human relationship. Within our home I have experience crate training, leash training, and potty training. We obviously love our pets and want them to get the most fulfilment out if their lives while they're with us which is why we use enrichment activities and dog sports to keep them engaged and active.

It is important to know any health conditions, including medications, limitations to walk times or exercise levels due to certain conditions, or injuries. It is also important to know a dogs temperament. Are they dog friendly? People friendly? Food aggressive? Toy aggressive? It's also great to know a dogs training level. Are they just learning to walk on leash and could benefit from some treats on walks or so they prefer a slower pace to stop and smell everything. Anything that can be known ahead of time to give me the best idea of the dogs personality and how I can best suit their needs. I like to set up a meeting before hand to get an idea of a dog and their routine before taking them on by myself.
A typical day
Valley Forge Park, Greenland Park, Evansburg State Park, and the Perkiomen Trail are all great places to get outside with pups interested in short or long walks. I also have the ability to just lay in the grass in cuddle if there is senior or low energy dog who needs some extra love as their owners return to work.

Availability
I am currently in grad school finishing up my Masters of Architecture. I have class Tuesday and Thursday all day as well as Wednesday afternoons. I have availability Monday and Fridays all day as those are my free days as well as limited availability Wednesday mornings to early afternoons.
