Hello! When you book with me you get the capability of two sitters! Due to recent layoffs in the tech industry, my partner Jen will be able to assist in Rover jobs in June. This means we are able to open and be more flexible with our drop-in times, walks and overnight home stays! You get two sitters for the same price! Brandy grew up on a small farm taking care of all kinds of creatures, great and small since she was 15 years old. Growing up on a farm taught Brandy how to be patient with animals of all sizes and temperaments. Brandy and Jen have been a dog owners for about 20 years and counting. We both have experience caring for a dog with some mobility issues due to arthritis in their hip. Brandy has a behavioral psychology background which assists in providing behavioral interventions that can assist younger pets or those who may still be a little hyper on their leashes! We would love to meet your pet so please reach out. Jen will be available to assist on longer or bigger jobs so that we can expand our ability to meet our client’s needs. Jen accompanies me to all my meet and greets for safety (can’t be too careful in today’s world). We are happy to meet either at your home or a local public park first, wherever your comfort level is! We both are very open to working with other members in our community as well so we hope that you feel open and safe booking with us. Brandy is so reliable and caring. She took such good care of my 2 cats who are older and required medications as well as feeding while I was away for a death in the family. Brandy put my mind at ease knowing my kitties were in her care. Brandy kept in communication with me and updated at all times. I will definitely work with Brandy again and highly recommend her!
Brandy was great. Our dogs settled down pretty quickly when she first met her. She stayed at our house for an overnight. We will definitely use her again. The dogs loved her. She took lots of pictures and sent us regular updates.
Brandy did a wonderful job watching our pups while we were out of town. We have to geriatric doggos which means one is on a bunch or weird meds and has very specific food instructions and the other one spontaneously throws up. She handled the pups great, I know they are in great hands with her and I know I can trust her with all of the quirks having elderly dogs come with lol. Thanks Brandy!
Brandy was awesome! She kept us updated and sent pictures of our dog while we were out of town. We will definitely have her watch our dog again, I would recommend Brandy to everyone!

We do our best to keep your pets in their typical routine. For dogs, we are able to take them to a local park or just for walks in your neighborhoods. For cats, we typically go above and beyond just feeding them and scooping their litter. We like to provide cuddles (if your pet is so incline), conversation and play time with your cats. We also am pretty particular about keeping a clean litter area, food and water bowls. If you leave me the cleaning items, we do like to sweep and clean out their bowls regularly as we would do for my pets at home.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs. I feel comfortable providing most medications and altering our activities based on the needs of your pet. I have taken care of older pets, pets with medical needs so I am very flexible with taking the time to learn your pets routine.
A typical day
We talk to your pets…a lot when when we come over. I might just be talking about what I’m doing, asking about their days…singing nonsense…but your pet will be entertained and cared for the whole time. If they have a favorite toy, I’m down to play any time! If they want to hang out outside for awhile because they miss you, we do that too. Brandy once sat for a home sick doggo at a hotel who just wanted to sit out front and wait for their humans…nothing else would do…so we did that until they decided to come in. We are very patient, mindful to keep an eye on their body language and won’t push them out of their comfort zones unless needed for meds, safety or behavioral issues!

Availability
Brandy currently works full time but now with the addition of their partner Jen to the mix, we are able to open up our availability more starting in June 2024! For now, Brandy is available in the evenings after 6pm, early mornings before work at 6am and Friday - Sundays for over-night stays. Brandy also have federal holidays off which may also make me a good fit for you!
