I started as a dog owner at the young age of 8. I took in a stray that had wandered into my backyard, with matted hair and only bones underneath. I hid her in our fort, cut her knots out, groomed her and used my money to buy dog food. When my parents found out they surprisingly let her stay, and I kept her until she passed away when I was 19. I have had a couple of other dogs and cats since then but I have mostly been more of a foster parent for pets, finding them their forever homes. I've always been the person to feed and nurture strays and all animals. It's my therapy. I love giving them all of my attention. I have done it all, from bathing, to grooming, exercising them and giving them lots of love and cuddles.
