I'm an assistant professor in religion who LOVES dogs (and cats, but especially dogs) and has loved pet sitting. I have a good job and don't need lots of extra money (though it always helps), but I'm planning on getting a pup soon, and mostly looking for an animal fix until I am able to get one of my own--so, I'm looking to love other dogs and pets of all varieties! Many years of experience caring for dogs and cats (and fish, turtles, snakes, and once, a sugar glider and chinchilla, which was a blast), including pets with serious health problems/medical needs. I love active dogs, that I can take with me on walks and runs, as well as the lazy ones, that keep me company when I read and write! I have a decent sized house with a good sized fenced in backyard in North Portland, and also have a great neighborhood to take pups on walks in!
