As a kid, I was terrified of all dogs, no matter the size. As I got older, I grew to love them. At the age of 18 I witnessed a pit bull get hit by a car and the person kept driving. I pulled over to help the dog because he was still trying to walk towards the sidewalk. I was a little nervous but he trusted me and fell into my arms and I rubbed on him and called 911 and I also dialed the after hours Animal Control. I cried and I was hoping he would pull through. I watched him bleed and try to stay alive. He took his last breath in my arms right as help arrived. From that point on, i just found the love for dogs. I started making flyers for dog walking and bathing. Ten years later, I’m still even more in love with keeping dogs happy. I genuinely enjoy them and I regret being afraid of them as a child because I was truly missing out. Dogs are my best friends!
