I have had a passion for all things animal since I was a little girl. I grew up with dogs & cats my whole life, always bringing home strays I had found. I have spent the past 6 years volunteering with local animal rescue groups as a foster parent for homeless animals. Countless dogs, cats, kittens, and puppies have come through my home on their way to their happily ever after in adoptive homes. I have always been a sucker for the "under-dog". So most of the animals I have fostered have had medical conditions or special needs, i've also provided a hospice home for several dogs and cats who needed end of life care and a home to spend their final days in. Somewhere along the way I ended up with 3 dogs and 5 cats, all rescues of course. Brody (6 year old Pit Bull/Boxer), Remmie (6 year old Pit Bull), and Gunner (5 year old Pit Bull/Whippet). The cats who rule my home are Coleman, Macey, Lego, Walter, and Jake. My professional life consists of 14 years spent in Healthcare Management and 5 years of Pet Grooming experience. Working with animals has always been a dream of mine, I have a great deal of experience and knowledge of dog behavior and find happiness in helping those who need me most. I got my Certification in Pet Grooming in 2011 and started providing back up coverage for another pet sitting business about a year ago. Now, I am finally in a position to make my dream a reality. Spending my days taking care of animals is the best job ever.
