Home owner with a large lovable GSD
Pet care experience
I've had dogs (and for most my childhood cats as well) since I was a child. I've had a Shihtzu and a Beagle growing up. Since moving into my own home a few years ago, I decided to get myself my own dog. Niko, a big lovable German Shepherd. I've done a good job getting him pretty well trained, although still excitable. My brother and mother typically have me dog sit their dogs (a beagle mix and lab mix) regularly. Normally my dog just roams my yard during the week. And on the weekends I take him out for hikes , the dog park or baseball fields (or a mix of both). He goes on a truck ride just about every day with me.
Reviews
Brandon comes highly rated in my eyes. I have a high maintenance Yorky terrier mix rescue who is touch sensitive and very anxious around unfamiliar humans. Brandon was able to work through this and Mowgli befriended him in no time and with no aggression toward Brandon or his dog Niko. Brandon deserves the very best rating.

I have a half fenced yard, with a buried lead. Typically my dog (~90lb GSD) roams freely and doesn't bother leaving the yard without the lead. But if your dog(s) is a runner I can put them on the lead or walk them around the yard to use the bathroom. Normally I bring my dog with me whenever I go to a store or what not, and he sits and waits in the truck (Yukon with all seats folded -- huge amount of comfy space for up to 4 large dogs). I leave the truck running on remote-start with the AC on during hot days of course! Because of this , between Thursday - Sunday my dog spends virtually no time alone at the house. On the weekends I bring him to the dog park to play and socialize, take him on hikes (usually off-leash), or take him to my local baseball fields and throw a ball for an hour until he's tired out. I also have him remote-collar trained, and he always wears a full chest harness. This allows me to make sure I can always maintain complete control over him and prevent any sort of incident.

Availability
I work full time Monday - Friday. But I work from home on Thursdays and Fridays. So my full time availability for pet sitting is Thursday - Sunday. I can also do dog sitting between Monday - Wednesday, but the dog(s) will be alone with my dog (or I can separate them - half house each) while I'm away at work 8-5PM.
