Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Brandon, and I am so excited to meet your pets! I have been a Madison resident for 11 years now. I attended UW-Madison as an undergrad, currently work here remotely, and refuse to leave this beautiful city! Pets have been in my life since I was born. Growing up, my family had 7 Pomeranians, many of them rescues, as well as 2 cats (plus horses, goats, and rats!). With this unique experience, I am prepared to help with all pet-related chores – walks, feedings, baths, litter cleanings, you name it! I couldn’t imagine life without having pets in them, which is why, as soon as I could find an apartment that accepted cats that weren’t declawed, I adopted my first cat, Chaos. Just under two years later, I adopted my second cat, Junebug. In addition to my cats, I have a 10-year-old Russian tortoise, Olivia, and have had several fish over the years. My two senior cats – 13 and 16 years old – and Olivia are the absolute light of my life and I would do anything for them, and that’s exactly how your pets will be treated. I am comfortable working with cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes, and I have several years of experience pet sitting and housesitting for friends and colleagues with cats, dogs, rabbits, and fish.
Reviews
Once again, Brandon did an amazing job taking care of our kitties while we were out of town for a few days. Brandon left detailed updates each time he checked in on them. Even though it was Thanksgiving and he had plans he still managed to check in on them twice and give them lots of love.
Brandon is great with our dog. He is very responsible and I love the reports after their walks
It was our first time leaving our cats for a few days after adopting a 3-month old kitten and Brandon took such wonderful care of them. He sent photo updates more than once daily and made sure to give both cats tons of attention. It was also our first time hiring a sitter so we were a bit nervous about what we would come home to, but Brandon was a perfect house guest. We certainly trust Brandon to watch our kitties again in the future!
Brandon did a great job dropping by and giving our girls some love and attention. He sent plenty of pics and updates.

Having senior pets with anxiety, I know how important it is to maintain routine. Each pet has their own personality, needs, and triggers, and I know it is important to respect their space and interact with them at their own pace. Housesitting with me ensures your pets receive that same level of attention, care, and love you would give them, as well as plenty of enrichment time.
Information Brandon M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about any triggers (bikes, cars, walkers, other dogs), special instructions (don’t pick up, medications (how do they take medication, are there any tricks to know), health history (any recent issues to note or be aware of), emergency vet contacts, etc. Does your cat or dog have any special hiding places? Are there any parts of your pet that should be avoided? Do they have any quirks I should be aware of (only uses a particular litter box, will lay down when on a walk to signal they want to go home)? Do they have a favorite toy? Are they allowed on furniture or countertops? The more you can tell me, the more I can make them feel comfortable while you are away!
A typical day
I am a very active person who enjoys a good 3- to 4-mile walk, throwing a ball or frisbee, or playing with a favorite toy, but I also look forward to relaxing and doing things around the house. So, whether your pet is looking for a long walk along one of our beautiful lakes, a friend to lounge on the couch and watch a movie or read a book, or something entirely different, I’m very happy to provide enrichment to your pet's level!
