I am just someone who has grown up loving all animals. Growing up I did not have many of my own pets but I did grow up around cats, dogs, birds and guinea pigs. I have experience with animals of all shapes and sizes and I care deeply for all of them. I volunteer at the SPCA and also at my local pet store to walk dogs. Currently do not have a dog of my own because I do not think my work schedule would be fair to it. But I do have a small cute black cat named Billie who I adopted over two years ago. I am joining Rover not to make money but because I love animals and enjoy spending time with furry friends. On the days I have availability for 1 check-in I do have work so I would need to be finished by 10am. On the days I have availability for 2 check-ins I am free all day and can drop in whenever is needed. I have a cat that is very friendly towards new people and pets. I do live in a 3rd floor apartment but the neighborhood is very dog friendly and there are many parks and dog parks near by within walking distance.
