HI! I am a 2022 Graduate of Algonquin's Developmental services worker program, currently career hunting with extensive background in behavioural psychology, ethics, inclusion, normalization, health and nutrition theory as well as practical application. (Though I cannot link directly to the course learning outcomes in the app they are available on the Algonquin website under 'Developmental Services Worker Program - Courses' tab.) I also have personal experience working with a variety or reptiles and amphibians, as well as rats, dogs, and cats and a 3 year old human, she would not be coming with me to work obviously, but she does definitely deserve a spot on the list of creatures I look after. My dog is a 9 year old mixed terrier named Mia, pictured in my display picture, as well as riding with me on various bikes around town. My scheduling goals for the time shared with your bestie will reflect your indicated exercise, feeding, socialization and learning goals, as well to respect and adhere to your animal's comfort and fitness level, to make the for best and most productive experience for everyone. Having just graduated Algonquin's DSW program I am available immediately to being visiting, walking, running or rolling with your animal anytime they are ready! I will be career hunting this summer and would prefer to not rush that, so in the mean time I would love to work with animals! Even once I do find my career I would definitely be interested in continuing working with anyone I happen to meet on here as best as my availability will allow, because I can't imagine ever wanting to not work with animals. I have a medium sized female rescue dog at home who is very friendly but also very case sensitive. She loves non aggressive cats however I don't think we are able to facilitate boarding of any animals except possibly in a real emergency situation at this time.
