I have two dogs. One is a shih tzu and his max for walking is 3 miles. The other one is a husky and her max in summer is 5 and winter has none. I like to walk daily and do 3 to 5 miles. I carry water in the summer time especially for the dog. The winter I carry water if I do more than 3. I have a back yard that dogs can run and play in with a small kiddy pool for the dogs to cool down in when it is hot. I do not do cats at all as I am allergic. I have a husky so I am use to cleaning up hair off the furniture and vacuuming on a daily basis.
