A positive approach, positive reinforcement, clear communication and a normal family environment. Your dog should have basic obedience and fair to moderate dog social skills. I have crates on site for those used to crating in high anxiety or bedtime situations, as well as for those who can’t be left to free-roam the couch when home alone. There will be alone times… because they can’t go to the grocery store or to my meetings. 🙂

I have two kids, two corgis and some cats - so plenty of attention and a large fenced yard. Your dog will need to be ok with cats. My cats don't run - which makes chasing them no fun.

History, talents, special needs, any behavioral issues - mild or severe, allergies and social/play/relaxation preferences. Your vet can email me a short note on your dog’s status with shots and worming with their clinic phone number. Is your dog a snuggler, your shadow, have separation anxiety, seriously smart or super aloof? Food or play motivated? What makes your dog unique? Each dog should come flea treated, fully vaccinated and dewormed, with his/her own labeled backpack/bag with food, preferred treat, blanket, no stuffies or toys (to prevent arguments) with the name and number of the vet you use and any special instructions.
A typical day
A lot of off-leash time, and outside time, socialization and play. Sometimes we go on dog-friendly road trips to find new places to smell. There are always squeak toys and stuffies to destroy.

My daily schedule is pretty much dictated by children’s events, single parent superhero stuff, animals and the weather. The dogs will experience a family routine.
