Offering one-on-one attention 🥰

Pet care experience

My wife and I have been dog lovers for our entire lives and will take care of your dog as if they were our own. Having said goodbye to our 15 and 12-year-old dogs in 2022, and with two young children, we don’t want to rush into getting another pup. But we would love to have your dog around to love on and get our puppy fix! We like to keep our schedules as clear as possible during bookings to give your pup the attention that they deserve (although we cannot guarantee round the clock care without agreement). In order to give us time to clear our schedule, we require two weeks notice. Bookings requested with 13-8 days notice may be charged an added rate of $15 per night. Those requested with 7 days or less notice may be charged an added rate of $30 per night. Meet and greets at our home are required. This is to ensure that your pup has a chance to meet us and see our environment with the comfort of your presence. Meet and greets are also required to ensure that we are fully prepared and equipped to meet your pup’s needs. For first-time bookings four days or longer, we require a paid overnight trial to make sure that it is a good fit. We are happy to do pick-up and drop-off on weekends. We charge $10 for every 5 miles of travel. So if you live 10-14 miles away, pick up or drop off will be $60 (10-14 miles to get to the pickup location, 10-14 miles to get back to our home).

Brandi and her family members are all very kind, super chill, and all love dogs (including their roughly-three year old, who has clearly learned about appropriate doggie boundaries). I appreciate that Brandi is a communicator and sent messages and photos of our beloved dog while she was in their care. She is thoughtful about the specific needs of our dog, genuinely cares for her, and she and her family clearly just love having her around!

Brandi took such good care of our sweet dachshund while we were away for the weekend. We got lots of updates and pictures and were in constant communication that eased my anxious dog mom heart. Would love to have her watch Lyla again soon. Thanks Brandi!

Brandi was wonderful with our GS, Levi! We had a last minute need for boarding because of a family funeral and Brandi met and exceeded our needs. She had to deal with Levi scratching & licking himself so much that the cone of shame was needed. She dealt with it all and we got lots of pictures and updates. Thank you Brandi!! Levi enjoyed staying with you.

Brandi was so welcoming and kind, Queenie made herself at home. Brandi sent multiple pictures of Queenie enjoying herself and Queenie even seemed a little hesitant in going home. I think Queenie had an awesome time and can't wait to go back thanks to Brandi's care and attentiveness.

Information Brandi M. would like to know about your pet

1. Does your dog have experience being around children and are they comfortable with them? We can only watch dogs that are comfortable around children. 2. Is your dog comfortable being left alone for 6-8 hours? While I work from home, I occasionally have errands or work commitments that require me to leave the house. If your dog is not comfortable being left alone for that long, I will need to check my calendar to make sure I don't have any all-day commitments before accepting your boarding request. Additional fees may apply for round the clock care. 3. Has your dog demonstrated any signs of separation anxiety either with you or past boarding? Most dogs are a little nervous when they are boarded at a new place, and we are perfectly equipped to handle that. We just like to be prepared if a dog is known to have anxiety beyond ordinary nervousness. Examples of behaviors associated with separation anxiety are excessive drooling, excessive whining or barking, throwing themselves at the door, scratching at the door, chewing on inappropriate things, or pacing. 4. Can your dog handle sleeping in a room by themselves/are they crate trained? We do not let dogs sleep in our bedroom so they will either need to be crate trained or able to sleep in a room by themselves.

We have a fenced-in backyard, so your dog can go out frequently. Your dog will also have a plethora of toys and a toddler to play with!

I work from home most days, so I am very flexible when it comes to meeting your dog’s needs. I do occasionally need to be out of the house during the work day, so if your dog is unable to be left alone for 6-8 hours, please let me know so I can check my calendar for work commitments that might require me to be out of the house during your requested dates (additional fee may apply if round the clock care is needed). We have a doggie door we can install, upon request, so they can let themselves in and out as they please.
