While we lived in Korea, especially towards the end of our time there, we started to travel around a bit because we wanted to see the country a bit while we still had the opportunity. We had, however, our Jindo, Jin. She's very timid, and takes a long time to warm to new people, but Brandi had the patience for it, and in the end, Jin pretty much had decided she was family. Brandi's natural disposition tends to suit dogs, the high energy levels are there, but indoors she's chill, which helps get the dog into the right mindset for the right location. On walks, it's go go go, inside it's more of a cuddle up and calm down time. She's also got that voice that dogs know not to mess with in her toolbox. "Stop" means "stop" as such. However I've never seen her lose her temper at a dog (even when it toilets inside, or starts causing havoc and destruction). She defuses the situation, gives the dog a bit of a time out, and then gets it some exercise to work of that excess steam. She's one of the few people aside from my parents that I'd trust with my dogs.

As the owner of two sometimes temperamental little dogs, I can attest to Brandi’s patient and caring nature with animals. She knows how to approach dogs in a calm, gentle way to help them feel safe and trust her. My dogs absolutely love her, and frankly they don’t like strangers. Brandi is definitely an “animal person” and any dog would be lucky to spend some time with her.
