Pet care experience
Hello! I’ve had dogs, cats, and various animals since I was a child. I’m a single mother of four and I work from home. There’s a range of activity during the day from fun and playtime to quiet time during naps and when my children are away. It is a true family atmosphere at my home. If you feel your dog does not do well with small children please still reach out because I have my children 50-75% of time and may still be able to accommodate you. We cuddle on the couch, congregate for dinner, play inside and outside, and go for walks. I have a 7 year old black lab named Tucker. He is a gentle giant that can have the energy of a puppy and still enjoys lounging on the couch. He’s respectful of other dogs’ boundaries and can adapt his play to different energy levels with care. He is not territorial, does not resource guard, and has no food aggression. However, when dogs board in my home I typically feed them separately because he doesn’t realize he’s overweight and will eat all food in sight! I’ve been taking care of friends and family pets for a long time and I would love to extend my help to others. We recently added a kitten to our family. She is feisty and fun and does not fear dogs. If your animal is not cat friendly we can restrict her to the upstairs so everyone can remain comfortable.

This is the second time we’ve used Brandi and are comforted knowing that Bruin is well cared for while we are away. Drop off and pick up are very easy and Bruin appears happy. Brandi was even nice enough to give our boy a Christmas toy. We plan on using her services again and would highly recommend.
Brandi was the best! Flexible with drop off and pick up times and Cookie seemed to have a good time! So grateful!

My children are 17, 13, 6, and 5. so we have every type of energy level and attention to give your pet. My 17 year old will snuggle on the couch or provide your pet some quiet time and attention while doing homework in her room. My 13 year old loves getting the dogs outside to run, fetch, and will try to teach them every new trick you can think of. The 6 and 5 year olds are very active but have grown up with our dog and are very respectful of boundaries and know to play gently. I have a large two story house and my dog typically remains downstairs. It’s a fairly open floor plan and my sons room is on the first floor so he loves to have the dogs on his bed while he does his homework or plays games on his PlayStation. If you would like to board a cat in our home you can be assured they will have the entire upstairs to themselves if they prefer peace and quiet and can come down if they are comfortable. Tucker loves cats and is gentle and respectful of their space. We have had cats stay in our home and he has boarded at others’ homes with cats with no issues. We would all love to meet your fur baby and give them them love and attention while you are away or at work!

A typical day
We enjoy taking walks down to the pond behind our house for some exercise and swim time. Our dog can go off leash just for swimming but if you prefer your pet to be leashed the entire time that is fine too!

Availability
I am self-employed and work from home so I’m rarely gone besides the occasional 15 minute school drop off or pick up. I have the ability to separate animals if needed while still giving them love and attention and making them a part of our family. Because I have joint custody of my children there are days when all four children may be home and days were it is just myself and Tucker. He definitely misses the kids so that is another reason I’d like to do this!
