I have a senior pup (14), and he’s a rescue in more ways than one. After being rescued by his first family, I rescued him for the second time after his family, (and dear friend) could no longer keep him due to the arrival of their son. I took Reef in and he’s fit right in with my family. In other words he’s spoiled rotten and won’t leave my side. He has the energy of a pup, and loves the dog park and long walks. But he also knows how to kick back and relax and can just lay down and cuddle by my feet when it’s down time...Unless it’s close to mealtime and he smells food cooking or he knows it’s snack time. We walk almost daily, or I take him to the dog park, when it’s dry and warm. My availability is all day Tuesday and Thursday. Afternoons on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Weekends are open and are more for overnight stays if needed. My dog gets along with most, of not all, dogs, loves humans even more.
