Animal Lover Extraordinaire
Pet care experience
I love animals!!!! I volunteered for both New Life Pet Adoption Center and Fetch Foster and Rescue. I decided to take on this new adventure with Rover, as fostering can be a very large commitment. I love all animals!! I grew up with dogs and guinea pigs. I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages. I am impartial to medium to larger dogs, but I still give love to those little guys/gals as well. I have experience with puppies and all the craziness that they bring with them. I know lots of different training and behavior tips and tricks but always love hearing what works for other pet owners as well. I treat animals like they are my own human children - they get lots of preferential treatment and attention in my house!
Reviews
Brandi was great, she did a great job making our dog feel right home. She also accommodated a very short notice boarding request.
Brandi is AMAZING!! She has training and years of experience with dogs. She is gentle and kind, and 100% trustworthy. She is so fun, and sent updates everyday while we were on vacation. I can’t say enough about Brandi. We were so thankful that she loved our pup while we were out of town.
Brandi was amazing and took such great care of Oakley! We received updates daily. Brandi’s communication before the boarding was great. We appreciated the meet and greet so Oakley could meet her and her dogs! When we picked up Oakley you could tell she was well taken care of! Brandi expressed how Oakley’s visit was with us and how she did well with her! We would highly recommend Brandi!
Brandi is a fantastic pet caregiver. She dedicates a lot of time to her 2 dogs and has also donated a lot of time to local shelters and rescues. She has also spent a great deal of time with my pack of 3 dogs as well. She understands dogs mannerisms and knows how to handle situations with behavior, if needed. I would certainly recommend her for dog sitting.

Safety, trust & environment
When bringing new animals into the home, I always make sure introductions are done properly and with consideration of the animals and their environment. I look to set all animals up for success in my home! My older dog is crate trained and really looks to his kennel as his "safe place" and sleeps in there nearly every night. My younger dog does not need a kennel and sleeps on his dog bed next to my bed every night. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a leash run and a couple other tie outs that are used. I tie up all dogs that are not mine when they are outside for potty, poop and play. In the event of behavior issues with any dogs, my one dog is crated and the other dog is put away in another closed off room. I always like to learn from owners what works best for their pets and be sure to follow those guidelines.

Information Brandi B. would like to know about your pet
It is always great to learn about other pets routines and I work to follow those closely. I am not partial to any sort of breeds and am fairly open to all pets. I am well versed on administering medication, if needed. I always look to get the most information on animals from their owners - are there triggers for your pet? How does your pet handle new people or other animals? What level of energy does your pet have? What queues do you use with your pets? I always try to maintain the utmost consistency when caring for other peoples pets....but also know, they are going to get LOTS of love from me!!
A typical day
Depending on the energy level of the dog, I am always willing to take dogs on walks, play catch or tug with a rope or toys. I do also have some brain stimulation puzzles that I can put kibble or treats in as well. If a pet owner allows the use of the dog park - I am more than willing to take a dog to the dog park as well.

Availability
I work from home full-time so I am always able to take care of my animals and their daily needs. I have an hour lunch break so that gives me extra time to spend with my animals as well during the day to take a walk or play, if needed. When I am not working, I spend lots of time cuddling, walking, and playing with my 2 dogs.
