Active, Affectionate, Knowledgeable

Pet care experience

I have not only grown up with dogs, but have also studied, worked with, and adored dogs for as long as I can remember. As much as I love to spoil every dog I meet, I believe that consistency between home and sitters is the most important detail when it comes to safety, training, diet, exercise, and play. With experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds, I am able to flex to meet everyone’s needs. I am well versed in providing medications and since I work from home and have my own needy dog, I am able to provide our pups with nearly 100% supervision. Together, our pups would walk, hike, eat, play, socialize, cuddle, spend lots of time outside, and even be ensured some solo time. All pups are treated like they are a part of our family and I have often heard that our pups have had a better vacation than their owners!

Brandi was amazing with our pup Mia! We left her for a week and received so many updates each day! Mia also had a medical emergency totally out of the blue which was the scariest thing ever but Brandi handled it perfectly and kept us in the loop and we are so so so grateful.

Brandi is incredible! She’s responsible, kind, and very knowledgeable with dogs. Our pup loved his stay at her house, with Tim. We recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!

My pup had a wonderful time with Brandi! I was nervous because it was my 8 month old puppy's first time staying away from home (and with another dog!) but Brandi sent me lots of updates and reassured me that everything was going well. It was such a relief for me and made my vacation stress-free. I will definitely book with Brandi again!

Safety, trust & environment

I follow first, the parents’ guidance on how to interact with their pup. With my extensive experience working with dogs, I am able to also read into body language and boundaries (with myself or other dogs). As I have my own large, needy, and sometimes destructive pup, I can easily ensure that I would never put a dog into an unsafe scenario - including leaving the bathroom trash unsupervised. I send photos and updates every day with honest and open communication on how everyone is doing. I also ensure alone time, play time, and safe eating spaces for every pup. I never ever let dogs offleash nor are they left unsupervised in the yard, even when they are perfect angels - I just could never put your furry family member at risk!

A typical day

On a typical day I will take all the pups for two 1-hour walks. In the case of smaller or older dogs, I may shorten those or leave them behind for one of the two. On days I’d like to go hiking, I will request permission from the parent before taking car rides, etc. We spend the rest of our time inside or in the yard cuddling, playing, and simply enjoying each other’s company.
