Pet care experience
We are a couple who both love animals and would be delighted to meet your pets! We are newly settled in this area after living for 12 years in Seattle then living the RV life for 18 months traveling the country with our 3 year old dog and 16 year old kitty. Having spent a lot of time in close quarters, we’re very accustomed to being around animals constantly and doing everything with them! Ingrid volunteers with the Humane Society and we have recently started fostering, beginning with a 4 month old puppy who luckily already found his forever home. We have experience with potty training, basic obedience and leash training, feeding, cleaning litter boxes, giving oral and eye medications to cats and dogs, and have cared for seniors and animals with illness requiring special care.

Brad is as much of a dog person as he is a people person, he excels at building relationships with both. I’ve seen him cuddle all types of pups, from a big ol’ golden retriever to a feisty little terrier. He had a good understanding of dog training techniques and has strong patience with the process. I’ve appreciated him watching my dogs in the past for a few days or even for weeks on end. Brad is an extremely dependable, loving, fun care giver for any pet!

We can follow any instructions or requests you have for how you would like your pet to be cared for and will always treat them as well as we would our own! Your pet will be our first priority and we will do everything we can to make sure they are happy and healthy! Being with animals is a joy and we can walk, play, or just spend plenty of time with them - whatever will give them the best experience possible. Our home is on a lake with great opportunities to get outside. Our pup loves seeing his friends and playing once good introduction have been made. The cat is less enthusiastic about visitors and would appreciate a cat friendly (or uninterested) guest, but can have her own space if needed.

A typical day
It’s great to get outside and explore with a dog so we will definitely spend time walking, hiking, and sniffing. If your dog likes to fetch, we are happy to throw. Short training sessions are great for mental stimulation and to build a great bond. And of course plenty of pets and spending time together.

Availability
We have great availability as neither of us works full time and we are working on starting a business, so our schedule is very flexible. We are available most days and evenings, weekday or weekend, and we can usually make it work!
