I love dogs and I have pet care experience going all the way back to when I was a pre-teen when I started my own pet and plant sitting "business". I own two dogs myself (bulldog and a golden retriever) in addition to caring for multiple pets over the years in the Alexandria/Fort Hunt area on a regular basis. I usually got dog walking jobs by word of mouth but I'm going to give Rover a try. I work nights as a police officer so I'm home during the day and it allows me to be flexible with my dog walking/visit schedule. I'm also a very dedicated athlete (road/trail races and triathlons) so I would be more than happy to have a running buddy (your dog)!
