Pet care experience
I've been fortunate to have at least one dog and one cat in our family since 1997. I have also fostered dogs over the years.

Brad is very empathic pet owner and care taker. He takes excellent care of my small terrier who is full of energy and my two cats! He regularly walks my dog (more than I normally do so it's appreciated!) and gives her so much love and attention when I'm away. Brad also does a great job with my cats, one who normally hides from everyone except from him! I mentioned how I'm worried about one of my cats weight so while he watched them he took it on himself to stay extra to just play with her! I'm very grateful for his services and for the care he displays for my animals. Having Brad as my animals care taker has truly been a wonderful experience.
My dog, Olive, is a very anxious pup who is usually very shy around people... but not Brad. I think she senses what a kind, caring person he is. I feel 100% confident whenever Brad watches Olive that she will be comfortable, calm, and safe in his care.

I am open to any requirements. Your dog is welcome to sleep with me, sit with me, and follow me around all day. If you have a fenced yard or an enclosure I am happy to let them in and out as often as they like. If you live in an apartment, I will take them out at least three times a day. Two walks per day. Mostly, I will give them the affection they need while missing their parent.

A typical day
We can play tug of war and fetch. On walks, I will let them stop and smell with no rush. If they have other games that you play together, I can accommodate.

I am an artist, and I work from home. Your "child" will rarely be alone. I write poetry, fiction, and two novels. I also do woodworking on occasion and play percussion in a band.
