A Friend to Any Animal

Pet care experience

I've been taking care of dogs and cats for as long as i can remember. Ever since I was a child my family and friends would depend on me to walk and feed their dogs, cats and other animals while they would go away on trips.

Bowen completed his check ins with my cat on time and he was very communicative. He did a great job. He additionally cleaned up pet accidents and kept things tidy.

Bowen was great with our dog and two cats. He respected our home and we have rehired him twice so far ! Our dog gets very excited when she sees him. Will definitely continue to use him as our go-to on rover !

Bowen saved the day when another dog sitter backed out while I was already over 1000 miles away from home. An absolutely great dog sitter who really cares about your pet. Very kind and generous.

Safety, trust & environment

My partner and I live in a house with a walled courtyard and we have separate areas for the cats, dogs and our other animals. In addition we have recently taken steps to ensure our home and courtyard are an even more secure environment by securing gaps in gates and window screens, removing possible escape routes from the environment, and making more exclusive space for animals with particular needs (private space when available). I'm committed to the security and happiness of your pet/pets!

Information Bowen M. would like to know about your pet

Some Important things to inform me of are going to be, First and most obviously your pets name, followed by a description of what your pet is like, what they like and what they do not like, and what their daily routine is like-so it can be accommodated. Second, all and any medical related accommodations (Allergy's to food or anything including plants, Past or present injuries, Possible injuries past present or future, Medication and schedule of administration, Any and all sensitivity's to the pets senses, any and all of the pets daily routine that might contribute to their health). Lastly Diet and exercise, What is the animals feeding routine and how much they should be exercising. (for senior dogs little to no exercise is able to be accommodated if needed)

A typical day

The day starts with letting the animals outside to use the bathroom, followed by whatever routine they are used to (food, medicine, walk, playing, training) and this is flexible. Next a hike is in order for the energetic dogs that are staying, keeping in mind each animal has their own accommodations. For the senior dogs, or those who might not have as much energy, I have parks and churches that make great places to walk dogs, each one varying in social and physical activity to suit specific requirements. I love getting the vacationing pets pup-cups at BaskinRobins or Starbucks! (with owners permission). Lastly we will finish the day by settling down at the house with air conditioning or heat based on time of year and the on-time round of treats, going for our evening walks on our road which has very light traffic, and lots of attention and love-making sure everyone is tucked in for the night and feeling taken care of. Some locations for walks: Fred Baca park Taos, Ohkey Owingeh plaza, Santa Fe historic district, the town of Taos and plaza. Some locations for hikes: Devisidero trail Taos, Yerba Canyon trail Taos, Villa Vidal and Costilla Park in Costilla, Red River ski area and surrounding in Red River, Wheeler peak and Williams Lake also Taos, and out by Abiquiu, Rio Chama, Chama, Coyote and Cuba as well, all containing excellent hiking and well maintained trails and roads which i am familiar with as I am a seasonal worker with the forest service in the coyote district.
