Hi all I’m in my late 50’s and a doting animal lover. I was bought up with both large and small bread dogs, also cats and I carried on with that throughout my adult life, animals are a huge part of who I am. I have 40 years of experience in caring for cats and dogs and also experience with those that need that little bit more, I have a dog stroller for smaller dogs convalescing or those less mobile. Each day will be tailored to the individual after discussions with the parents so all needs will be fully catered for. I’m happy to feed any diet, including raw which I’m experience in as my own dog has a raw diet which I prepare myself. I live with my chilled other half who works from home, our well trained, non reactive German Shepherd girl, and our confident elderly cat. We have no children at home nor do we have visiting children so our home is a very calm and quiet environment. Anyone leaving their baby in my care can be 100% sure that their welfare is, and will always be paramount to me. I used to foster for The Dogs Trust (The Freedom Project) so have lots of experience with pets that may be nervous, anxious or have things like food issues and separation anxiety. It is my job to make sure that your baby is comfortable with me and in the setting that we’re in, and to gain your trust too which is what I pride myself on. As a pet owner myself I’m fully aware of the fears and worry that goes with leaving them with someone else and will do everything in my power to work with you on this, and to relieve any worries you may have. Lots of fun, love and attention, and quiet time if needed equals a happy pet. I offer a free pick up/drop off service (over 5 miles to be discussed) if required and am also fully insured to transport any pets as well as caring for them, walking, grooming etc and hold a current DBS check to enhance level.
