Pet care experience
I have grown up around many different animals (from large farm animals to small furries) and have lots of experience with different breeds of dogs and cats, young and old, including our rescued pet friends. I understand that some need a little extra time to get used to new people and environments, on the other hand I know that some are bursting with love and energy at all times!! I therefore take their lead, and try to bring the energy that they need, at their pace. People’s pets tend to gravitate towards me, I can match their energy or give the safe, calm and unassuming vibe they are looking for - I always seem to be able to win everyone round. I have experience of giving both dogs and cats oral medication.

Our boys absolutely loved Bonnie looking after them while we were away getting married. We had regular updates from Bonnie so never had to check in. Would highly recommend using Bonnie to house sit and look after your fur babies
I currently have two dogs and Bonnie has looked after them on various occassions. She also used to look after my old dog, who lived to nearly 15yrs old, but who needed regular medication and Bonnie was happy to administer this. I would wholeheartedly recommend Bonnie as a pet sitter.
I have a doggie companion named Buster, who is a shar pei -staffy cross who came from a rescue home, with a sad life before we adopted him. This makes him very scared to trust humans but Bonnie has been great with him from the moment they met. Every time Bonnie visits, she lets Buster sniff her hands, avoids stroking his head, which she knows scares him and she has built up such a great trust, now he is immediately comfortable with her every time he sees her. It helps that she's a super awesome human! Bonnie has taken Buster out for walks and I have been more than confident that he will be really looked after and I have asked Bonnie to house sit and take care of Buster whilst we are overseas. I have complete faith in her ability to care for any animal with love and care and would recommend her to any pet owner.

Please inform me of any medical, behavioural, dietary needs or any specific feeding, sleeping and exercise needs (including best ways to manage them). Also if you have any expected standards (e.g. behaviours) or specific commands etc that you’d like upheld. I’m flexible and pretty sure in no time I’d work out what works best for all!
A typical day
I like to go out for walks and live near some lovely parks (including Bute Park). I’m available for long or short walks depending on need and finding a running buddy (where safe) would be a bonus! On the other hand I also like a good snuggle on the sofa - either way I’m great company. For “walkies” in the park - ‘On lead’ or ‘off lead’ it’s up to you but I’d prefer to take my time to build a relationship and ensure recall before trialing that. For ‘purrr babies’ I am in a flat with no easy/direct kitty escape routes to outside. I live alone and don’t have other pets so they’d have my full attention.

Availability
Schedule: I work at at hospital and between shifts I have plenty of time to spend with your furry friend/s. Depending on work, my availability varies but includes weekdays, nights and weekends. My two week calendar will be correct. For future bookings: I often know my availability a month in advance - please contact me to discuss even if the service you require appears unavailable as I may well be able to accommodate your dates and times.
